This is not just my business, it's my passion. If you are anything like me, your pets aren't just your pets, they are your friends, and they mean the world to you. I love my dog and would not trust just anyone to watch him or walk him. That's why I established this service.

From dog walking to small animal care, we pride ourselves on our flexibility and will try and meet your individual pets needs, 7 days a week. Please contact us via email, a phone call or text to find out if we can help.

About me...

Hi, I'm Sheila and this is me with my dog Chester, a chocolate labrador who is 4 years old. I always had pets as a child and this ranged from gerbils, fish, cats and dogs too. A few years ago, I gave up my full time job in London to devote my time to our dog and to this business. Chester comes on some of the walks that I do and all the dogs love him as his temperament is very easy going.

Our services...

* We can help when you are away from your home for long hours, or you may be recovering from an operation?
* Are you held up and can't get back in time - leave us your keys and we will take care of your pet.
* Just want a lie in at the weekend?
* Are you finding you have too many commitments and can't fit a dog walk in - we can, call us?
* Are you out for the evening and want someone to call in to check on your pet?

Dog Walking

Your dog will be walked on a lead unless prior arrangement has been made. Even in wet weather, your dog will be returned with those muddy feet cleaned. We cater for occasional or regular walks.

£8.00 for 30 minutes
£10.00 for 45 minutes
£12.50 for 1 hour
2nd dog from same household £4.00

Dog Short Walks

This option is meant for a quick relief/let-out for your dog which will include a short walk, if required.

Puppy Care

An individual service where we will reinforce any training you may have started. Since your puppy will need extra care we recommend 2 visits per day.

Cat Feeding

Two types of visits offered, a brief visit to feed, provide clean water, groom and cuddle lasting 15 minutes. Or a visit of 30 minutes to allow for more fuss and attention, which is ideal for elderly cats or kittens.

Small Animal Care

30 minute visits available for cats, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, chinchillas, chickens, parrots, snakes and rats and turtles (Don’t see your pet...feel free to ask?).

The Small Stuff...

• A consultation must take place before any animals are taken on which is free of charge and enables me to find out exactly your animals likes and dislikes.
• Dogs must be sociable with other dogs.
• All dogs will remain on lead unless I am confident that the dog will do a recall and a prior agreement has been reached with written permission.
• I will ensure your dog has water and security check your house thoroughly on leaving.
• Before taking on any dog we would come out on trial dog walk with you so we can get to know your dog and vice versa.
• Introduce a friend When you introduce a friend to this service you can get your dog walked for free for 40 minutes!
• OAP Discounts If you are an OAP you can get your dog walked for just £7.50, within a 3 mile radius of Codicote.
• All prices are quoted dependent on location.
• There is also an additional £10 charge for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day. All other Bank Holiday prices are charged at an additional £5.
• A set of keys needs to be provided for all services.
• I am fully insured. CRB Police Checked.
• Full payment is required weekly. Any balance due must be paid within 7 days of your return.
• Please ensure that all medication is clearly labelled and clear instructions provided.
• We expect you to provide enough food and sundry items to last for the duration of the booking. There may be a surcharge if we need to replenish these items, at our discretion, for time spent and petrol costs.
• House plant watering is offered free of charge and other small duties, please advise us at our consultation meeting, we're here to help. Garden or larger conservatory watering may be subject to an extra charge, just ask.
• In the event of your pet becoming unwell in our care, we will ensure veterinary attention is sought from our village vet. We will do our best to contact you first. All charges are your responsibility.
